Come help us celebrate 8 years of Electric Bat November 6-8 with a weekend of pinball tournaments!
Friday November 6th- Classics match play tournament
Saturday November 7th- Main match play tournament
Sunday November 8th- Main finals and Consolation Pace match play tournament
Players are responsible for coin drop during the event. $35 event fee ($30 goes to the prize pool) covers entrance into all tournaments during the weekend. Prizes include cash, trophies, medals, a Stern light up LED sign and lots of sweet sweet WPPRs. 120 player limit.
Tournament weekend details:
Friday November 6th:
To kick off the anniversary bash weekend, we will start with a Classics tournament featuring 5 rounds of match play qualifying on 2 games per round. Scoring will be 5-3-2-1 for a 4 player game (5-3-1 in 3 player group) with the top 16 players making the finals. The finals will consist of 4 player groups playing 5 games in predetermined banks. High seed in each group will have choice of bank and play order for the first round. Top 2 players from each group advance. If the player count exceeds 80 competitors, the tournament may include non-classic games in the banks.
Winner gets $100! Medals for top 3! 200% TGP!
Tournament starts at 11 AM on Friday November 6th. Entry is included with main event fee. $1 entry if not participating in main event. Players are responsible for coin drop.
Saturday November 7th:
The main event will be IFPA certified and feature 20 rounds of group match play, with each round alternating between a classic game and a modern game. Random initial seeding and tiered Swiss pairings thereafter. Scoring will be 7/5/3/1 per game and the top 24 players will make the cut for PAPA style finals on Sunday of 3 games per round with 4/2/1/0 scoring. Top 8 players get a first-round bye.
Check-in begins at 9 AM on Saturday, November 7th, and the tournament will begin at 10 AM. There will be a lunch break around 1 PM and a dinner break around 6 PM.
Finals begin at 10 AM on Sunday, November 8th. There will be awesome trophies for the top 3 finishers and payouts on the following schedule: 1st place: 25% and Stern light up LED sign 2nd place: 15% 3rd place: 10% 4th place: 5% 5th - 8th place: 4% 9th - 16th place: 2% 17th - 24th place: 1% Top qualifier: 5%.
Sunday November 8th:
We will have a Pace match play tournament for players that did not qualify for finals in the main tournament. Each player will play at least (6) 4-player games, with 7-5-3-1 scoring. Swiss pairing will be used. The pace points goal is set to 24 points after 6 rounds, and will increase by 7 points each round thereafter to remain in the tournament. Qualifying ends when there are 4 players remaining.
The top 4 qualifiers advance to a 2-game finals round with 4-2-1-0 scoring. Registration starts at noon and the tournament starts at 1PM. $1 entry fee if not participating in the certified main event on Saturday. Players are responsible for coin drop. Limited to 96 players.
