This will be a 4 strike knockout. Games will be four player group match play. Strikes are given to the third and fourth finishers in each game, in three player groups only the third place finisher receives a strike. After you receive your fourth strike you will be knocked out and you give your $5 chip to the person that won that game. If two people are knocked out in the same round, the first and second place finishers in that game each receive a chip. Cost to enter is $6 which includes your IFPA fee and a $5 chip.

The launch party starts promptly at noon and costs $1 to enter plus the cost of games.

We will have 12 rounds of one on one battles in the form of Max Matchplay. We will use automatic tie breakers to break any ties in determining who gets into finals.

The top 14 will move on to finals which will be Amazing Race format. Each player will have to move through 13 challenging arenas with one player getting vanquished each round until the last person standing is victorious!

There will be prizes from Electric Bat and from Stern, including lots of giveaways! Many prizes will be awarded to random winners-- you don't have to win the tournament to win some big prizes. Play Star Wars during the party to get your Launch Party Badge.

To kick off the bash weekend, we will start with this warm-up classics tournament featuring 5 rounds of match play qualifying on 2 games per round. Scoring will be 5-3-2-1 for a 4 player game (5-3-1 in 3 player groups) with the top 16 players making the finals. The finals will consist of 4 player groups playing 5 games per round in predetermined banks. High seed in each group will have choice of bank and play order for the first round. Top 2 players from each group advance. If the player count exceeds 80 competitors, the tournament will include non-classic games in the banks.

Winner gets $100! Medals for top 3! 200% TGP!

Tournament starts at 11 AM on Friday.
